I'm located in the US and was considering purchasing the 4060 Z LT. Currently on-sale and they offers a lot for the price. However, I've read a couple articles indicated SCOR operations are "paused" and BMC is refocusing efforts on the core segments (road and gravel).

My concern is that will customer support look like, 1 year... 5 years from now. Will they honor their warrenty/service/parts? How's has everyone's experience with SCOR/BMC been lately?

Hi, I wouldn’t worry too much about spare parts for this bike because the Score brand belongs to the BMC group. It’s true they’re not going through the best moment right now and decided to put the Gravity off-road brand on hold, but BMC is a long-standing company, and in the worst-case scenario it would likely be acquired by someone else. Just be careful if you’re buying the very first edition (the purple or grey one), because it had a few early issues: the rear linkage pins were too light and tended to break, the battery cover lock could crack, and the first rear triangles sometimes rubbed against the chain. If yo send us a Photo or link we can see wich edition is the one you are planning to buy.
For the rest it's an awesome enduro eMTB

I emailed SCOR and they responded fairly quickly...

Yes, we will continue to support the SCOR brand for the foreseeable future or until any warranty supply is depleted. Currently we have a decent amount of support parts available.​

Decided to give the SCOR a try, first eMTB... been resisting for a while.





Fitting a OneUp v2 180 mm dropper (shimmed down to 160 mm) proved difficult, but I was able to get my saddle height extended correct and gain 10 mm of drop (stock xFusion 150 mm in size medium frame).

Curious on folks experience with the Super Deluxe ('23 MY with HBO) on the LT? I'm 91 kg and currently running 270 psi (~25% sag, hard to tell accurately by myself) and -5 rebound. According to RockShox TH app, the stock shock should have 3 (of 4) POS tokens installed.

Initially, I ran 260 psi and found the shock bottoming more often than I'd like on a mix of drops from 1-1.8 m, some with flatter transitions than others. My main bike is a Pivot Firebird with float X2 (same 170/160 travel) and I ride the same trails and features, no harsh bottoms. It's not till I start hitting 3.5 m and up drops it'll bottom, but its still not harsh.

I'll probably put in another POS token, but I don't expect it to make a huge difference.

sento spesso notevoli flessioni laterali alla ruota posteriore.
Provando da fermo noto una elasticita' ,eccessiva a mio parere,che prima non notavo all'altezza degli snodi superiori sopra l'ammortizzatore.
Ho smonatto tutto e rimonatato; i cuscinetti sono ok e non c'è nessuno scricchiolio sinistro.

è normale cosi' ?

oppure conviene controllare qualcosa che non ho considerato? Scor 4060z LT taglia XL anno 2023

È fatta così, flette. Fa bruttino all occhio ma nn mi ha mai dato noia nel corso di diversi test. Un paio di amici la posseggono ed entrambe hanno questa peculiarità. Onestamente mi orientai su altro principalmente per questo motivo. Fa brutto a vedersi, da la sensazione di fragilità ( i ragazzi che conosco nn hanno mai avuto problemi di sorta e girano forte forte)
Cmq divertentissima come poche .
